Annual Feast of St. Panteleimon: August 8th & 9th

Dear friends,

Unfortunately, due to the recent appearance of COVID-19 at the monastery, the celebration of St. Panteleimon's Day will have to be closed to the public this year. However, we will continue to live-stream the divine services online. A Festal Vigil will be served at 6:30 pm, Sunday, August 8th. At 8:00 am, Monday, August 9th, there will be a water blessing and Divine Liturgy at 9:00am. At the conclusion of the Liturgy, there will be a special Festal Moleben to St. Panteleimon.

For eight days following the feast we will be serving a special moleben to St. Panteleimon, and we invite everyone to submit the names of those in need of his aid for commemoration during these services. Please use the form below to submit these names.

NOTE: Please do not use the comments form at the bottom of the page to submit your names to us. Use the green St. Panteleimon Moleben form below to submit them.

Dear Fathers,
Thank you for your prayers, and for your living faith. I am inspired by your choice to live for Christ, and I am comforted by St. Panteleimon’s powerful intercessions. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I want to state how tremendously beautiful is the video “from the Little Mountain” which you produced several years ago. I have watched it numerous times and am always blessed by the teachings it contains.

The Fathers and especially Archimandrite Seraphim have been a big help to me, and i’m Eternally grateful for all you have done for our Country and I. Thank you guys so much for doing what you do, for being who you are, if only there were more of you and more of your monasteries throughout the country! Lord willing! + Thank you all for everything you do, every single day. Thank you, thank you, thank you. +

Dear Fathers, early congratulations on the Feast day of St. Panteleimon. Thank you for praying for the list of people whose names I have sent. Bless you for the work you do. I will keep your monks on their journey to Optina in my prayers. I was fortunate to travel there with his Holiness Met. Hilarion several years ago and indeed is is a blessed, holy , and inspiring place. May they go with God. I will send a donation for the moleben and to thank you for your prayers. In Christ Matushka Anna/Dianne Winsky

Church Construction Halted

We regret to report that construction on the new church has been brought to a halt. In mid-July, we discovered that our general contractor had not been paying his subcontractors. After attempts to resolve the issues in good faith failed, we reluctantly decided to terminate the contract. We have retained legal counsel and are currently in the process of identifying and paying all debts owed to subcontractors and suppliers. This is a necessary step to move forward. We are also searching for a new general contractor to take over the job.

Please note that due to this outbreak of the virus, Fr. Seraphim has decided to close the monastery to visitors through the end of August.

Because we are very shorthanded, orders are being fulfilled more slowly than normal. Please allow us at least a few additional days to get your orders shipped.
