Back and better than ever! This traditional dessert is a rich and chewy spice cake (the name means "strong bread"). It combines almonds, hazelnuts, dried raisins, apricots and tart cranberries with a bit of gluten-free oat and almond flours, grapeseed flour and oil, honey, cocoa, cane sugar, and spices, and is baked slowly to produce a moist, flavorful, delectable cake. It goes well with red wine, sweet wine, coffee, tea, as a breakfast snack, bedtime snack, afternoon snack or dessert after dinner.
