We bottled up the aroma of an ancient Byzantine basilica with wooden rafters overhead and the smoke of frankincense lingering in the air. Old Church incense is a complex and woody blend of labdanum, frankincense, cedar & fir needle and vetiver, with a touch of spices.

Add a small amount of Hermitage Anointing Oil to pure olive oil for anointing the faithful, or for use in your vigil lamp, to provide a light fragrance.
Pleasant scent. Good for anointing. Nice to add to avocado oil in a recycled anointing oil bottle from the shop. Has a woodland scent to it.
