Kulich is a traditional yeasted cake that is filled with eggs, milk, butter, honey, sugar, sweet spices, and studded with nuts and candied fruit. In order to symbolize the Resurrection of our Savior, it is allowed to rise high. Then it is baked to a golden brown, topped with a rich sugar frosting and the letters XB, an abbreviation of the traditional Russian Paschal greeting meaning "Christ is Risen."
The ingredients speak for themselves: wheat flour, whole milk, sweet cream butter, fresh eggs, West Virginia honey, sliced almonds, candied orange peel, sugar, yeast, sea salt, ground cardamom, and vanilla. Topped with frosting and candied orange peel.

This years was one of the best so fresh and tasty.
My mother has been very ill lately and she usually makes a phenomenal kulich and cheese pascha. She was not able to do that this year so we were thrilled to get a very traditional kulich from your monastery. It made a beautiful centerpiece for our Pascha table and the flavor was wonderful. Unfortunately, the kulich was very, very dry and my mom has problems chewing. We love and appreciate everything you do and I will keep ordering products to support the monastery.
Reallhy enjoyed it even if it was a little dry. Maybe put a few more raisins in it. The icinig was sublime
