These traditional, Russian-style knotted wool prayer ropes are individually handcrafted by the sisters of St. Paisius Monastery in Arizona. Woven from high quality 3-ply wool yarn, with wood divider beads, these prayer ropes may be stretched to increase the length of the rope and the distance between the knots.

I am using and enjoying my 33-knot chotki. I specifically wanted one in black wool, with traditionally tied knots, wooden divider beads, tassel, and monastery origins.
