Crosses and Cupolas Installed on Domes of New Church

On Friday, March 20, during the Fourth Week of Great Lent and the week of the Veneration of the Holy Cross, golden cupolas and crosses were installed atop the domes of the new Holy Cross Monastery church.

The cupolas with crosses arrived at the monastery from overseas in July 2025, after years of temptations which repeatedly delayed their arrival. The very next month, during his episcopal visit to the monastery, His Grace Bishop Luke of Syracuse, blessed them during the feast of the monastery’s patron, the Holy Great Martyr and Healer Panteleimon. Now, on the day that the Precious Cross returns to the Altar after being out in the center of the church for all of Fourth Week, two beautiful crosses have been elevated over the monastery for all time.
