Moleben in Time of Devastating Epidemic: Livestreaming 3/18/20 at 12pm Eastern

On Wednesday, March 18 at 12pm Eastern the whole brotherhood will gather to serve a Moleben in Time of Devastating Epidemic to our patron the Holy Great-Martyr and Healer Panteleimon as well as to St. Nikephoros the Leper. The service will be live-streamed for as many of the faithful to join in prayer as possible.

Archbishop Kyrill of San Francisco and Western America writes:

Already reports are coming in that the Archangel Michael has appeared to many people promising them his powerful help. Also, the newly-glorified Saint Nikephoros the Leper has appeared in Greece to a pious Orthodox serviceman and assured him that he will intercede for all who ask his prayers to be protected and healed from the Corona virus.

In addition to the moleben, the monastery intends to continue livestreaming all its services for the duration of this crisis, God willing. Please spread the word to any who might benefit from this outreach.

We regret to report that construction on the new church has been brought to a halt. In mid-July, we discovered that our general contractor had not been paying his subcontractors. We have retained legal counsel and are currently in the process of identifying and paying all debts owed to subcontractors and suppliers. This is a necessary step to move forward. We are also searching for a new general contractor to take over the job.
