We are very happy to announce that following the trials of the past several years, our patronal feast of the Holy Great-Martyr and Healer Panteleimon will once again be held publicly. To our great joy, His Grace Bishop Nicholas of Manhattan will preside at the divine services. A Festal Vigil will be served at 6:30 pm on Monday, August 8th. At 8:00 am on Tuesday, August 9th, there will be a Lesser Blessing of the Waters followed by Hierarchal Divine Liturgy at 9:00am. At the conclusion of the Liturgy, there will be a special Festal Moleben to St. Panteleimon.
Ever since we resumed work on the new church in March, progress has been extremely slow with various difficulties and complications arising on a regular basis. Therefore under the direction of our abbot, Archimandrite Seraphim, we resolved to serve this morning a special Moleben with a Cross Procession, beseeching the help of God, the Theotokos, St. Panteleimon and all the saints for this most important and God-pleasing endeavor.Continue reading
In thanksgiving for the mercy of God and the overwhelming outpouring of prayer and financial support we received from so many of the faithful after the devastating ice storms in February, we will serve a special moleben of thansgiving and prayer for the sake of all those who came to our aid on Tuesday, March 23rd at noon Eastern (in place of Sixth Hour). As our internet connection issues appear to finally be resolved, we will plan to livestream this moleben for all who wish to join us in thanking God and asking Him to richly reward those who sacrificed their time and their material support for us unworthy sinners. Once again, thank you all so much for your love and your help!Continue reading
