On night of January 16th, after the Vigil Service for St. Anthony the Great, Ryassaphore-monk Michael made his life vows and was tonsured into the Small Schema by Archimandrite Seraphim.

Monk Ignatius Tonsured at Holy Cross
Following the Vigil for the Transfiguration, Archimandrite Seraphim administered vows and tonsured Rassaphore-monk Theophan (Matthews) to the Small Schema, giving him as his first monastic obedience the new name of Ignatius (after St. Ignatius Brianchaninov).

Tonsure of Monk Basil
On Friday evening, June 29th, we concluded our celebration of the Vigil for St. John of Shanghai and San Francisco, and prepared for the tonsure of Riassophore-monk Justin to the Mantia and his taking of final vows. The tonsure service began with Fr. Justin being brought in by the other monks, clothed in a white baptismal robe.
