A fellow parishioner lended me this book to read as he asked me whom my patron saint would be, my answer would be “ Saint Gabriel of Georgia, the fool for Christ “ he said stay right here and brought me the book.
That night I started reading, I’m not a very good reader, I usually start a book and lose interest and never finish the book I started, not so with this book however. The first night I started reading it I could not put it down, I read the first quarter of the book the first night. Having known a fair bit about Saint Gabriel already I expected to just be rereading stories I had already heard or read but I was pleasantly surprised when I came across various first person accounts of Saint Gabriel and the holy miracles he performed by the Lords grace. If you are on the fence about ordering this book, please do yourself the favour and buy it. It is well worth the read.

My son requested this book specifically for Christmas, we are both new to Orthodoxy and are soaking up the beautiful writings of the Saints! I can’t wait to read it when he’s done!
