They're made right here in our monastery bakery, using a time-tested, traditional recipe, with fresh European-style butter and top-quality flour from Weisenberger Mill, a Kentucky family-owned business since 1865.

Six flavors are available throughout the year:

Year-round

Frosted Lemon—Tart, sweet, and covered with a zesty lemon glaze.
Bourbon—Real Kentucky bourbon and brown sugar are baked right into this delicious cake. Soaked in a bourbon glaze and topped with a bourbon frosting for intense flavor.
Caramel—Our classic pound cake recipe made with rich brown sugar, topped with delectable caramel frosting.

Fall/Winter

Cranberry Orange—A perfect holiday blend of tangy orange zest, tart cranberries, and crunchy pecans.
Chocolate—Rich notes of cocoa and espresso meld together for an intense chocolate flavor. Chocolate buttercream frosting tops it all off.

Summer

Blueberry—Succulent blueberries add a burst of flavor to our silky-smooth pound cake.

Delicious

An amazing seasonal treat. Perfect with coffee in the morning. Lemon frosting adds a bit of magic. I did not succeed at eating in moderation every time. Planning to try another flavor in winter

Almost too good!

The Blueberry Pound Cake just became my favorite. The cake itself is excellent, but the cream cheese frosting makes it extra special. A real plus for me is that the frosting layer isn't super thick, so you can taste the cake itself. Would buy this again for sure!

I have ordered this cake two times and it is very well made and delicious with coffee. I also ordered one for my son and he really liked it.

The Blueberry Pound Cake from the bakery at Holy Cross Monastery is incredibly delicious! Very moist with lots of yummy blueberries. The family obliterated it rather quickly. Time to order another one!
