Velvety, soft, and full of flavor, Hermitage Pound Cakes make an excellent addition to any festive occasion. They're made right here in our monastery bakery, using a time-tested, traditional recipe, with fresh European-style butter and top-quality flour from Weisenberger Mill, a Kentucky family-owned business since 1865.

Seven flavors are available throughout the year:

Year-round

Frosted Lemon—Tart, sweet, and covered with a zesty lemon glaze.
Bourbon—Real Kentucky bourbon and brown sugar are baked right into this delicious cake. Soaked in a bourbon glaze and topped with a bourbon frosting for intense flavor.
Salted Caramel—Our classic pound cake recipe made with rich brown sugar, topped with delectable caramel frosting.

Fall/Winter

NEW! Apple Brandy—Bursting with brandy-soaked, flambéed apples and topped with an apple brandy glaze.
Cranberry Orange—A perfect holiday blend of tangy orange zest, tart cranberries, and crunchy pecans.
Chocolate Espresso—Rich notes of cocoa and espresso meld together for an intense chocolate flavor. Chocolate buttercream frosting tops it all off.

Blueberry—Succulent blueberries add a burst of flavor to our silky-smooth pound cake.

Fasting

In all honesty, I had a small slice. It was excellent. I have returned to the fast however and look forward to another slice on the Nativity, 25th.

Thanksgiving Treat!

I bought a cake for my daughter and her husband, and it exceeded all our expectations! It was beautifully decorated, incredibly fresh, and tasted absolutely delicious. The flavors were wonderfully balanced—sweet but not overpowering. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special treat.
