Amazing that it wasn't damaged in transit. Poorly packaged and wrapped. When I buy an item from a Monastery that is to be used in a sacred manner, I expect some care be taken, rather than just tossing it in a box, barely wrapped and taped box half opened. This did not happen during shipping. You're better than this!
