Even before going to press, many of the faithful showed tremendous interest in this new addition to the Akathist Series, which includes two canons to St. Mary of Egypt. Our nation is being devastated by a great spiritual tsunami of lustful passions. As Fr. Demetrios Carellas writes in the Introduction: may this Canon to St. Mary, and the Spirit-filled prayers at the end, help us in our efforts to keep our souls from sinking under this soul-destroying tsunami. May we also offer it as an intercession for others who are under the control of this demonic weapon of mass destruction, and who at present do not have the desire, or strength, to escape its terrible impact on their souls. Includes a prayer against internet pornography. Cover and inner pages are in full color, with several full-page icons.

As of Monday, July 26 one member of the brotherhood has tested positive for COVID-19 and a good number of others have fallen ill. Therefore Fr. Seraphim has decided to close the monastery to visitors temporarily, and unfortunately we will have to cancel the public celebration of St. Panteleimon's Day on August 8/9.
Because we are very shorthanded, we will also be closing the store through the end of this week. Orders can continue to be placed either online or via phone message, and will be fulfilled as quickly as possible beginning Tuesday, August 3.
Regarding live-streaming, please make note of the abbreviated liturgical schedule for this week.
Thank you for your understanding, and please keep us in your prayers during this time.
