The Holy Royal Martyrs of Russia


The last Orthodox Tsar before the Russian Revolution, Tsar Nicholas II, sought to rule his nation within the best traditions of Orthodox virtue, piety and practice. Even after their capture and imprisonment, the last Romanov ruling family displayed great piety, meekness, love and trust in God until their eventual martyrdom. The holy Royal Martyrs suffered physically and spiritually for their faith and the Russian land.
