A rich golden, multi-colored tree resin with a very powerful and complex earthy aroma, imported from Somalia. For centuries, this ancient natural resin has been used as incense in Divine Worship throughout Christendom.
"First Choice" is the top grade of Somalian Frankincense and comes in marble-sized, tear-shaped pieces. It is then processed by the brothers of the monastery to a size suitable for use at home or in Church.

We really enjoy the well-rounded profile of frankincense, not just piney and citrusy but also fruity. It also mixes well with myrrh and other varieties of incense.
This one is a staple. If you have any incense from here, this one needs to be one of them.
This is my favorite incense. It strongly lends itself to devotional practices. I especially like that it has no powder covering and so the incense seems more pure to me and doesn't have the powder scent at all.
