A rich golden, multi-colored tree resin with a very powerful and complex earthy aroma, imported from Somalia. For centuries, this ancient natural resin has been used as incense in Divine Worship throughout Christendom.
"Pea Size" comes in naturally smaller pieces than our First Choice variety. That makes it easier to burn, but with the same exquisite fragrance.
This inexpensive incense is nice for daily use. The variation in size nicely sifts and sorts out to 3 different sizes with a sifter I made from a small steel bowl with quarter or three-eight inch holes drilled in it. It starts to smoke and produce an aroma very quickly when put on the charcoal. The fragrance is a light scent of freshly cut pine and is subtle and light.
