A rich golden, multi-colored tree resin with a very powerful and complex earthy aroma, imported from Somalia. For centuries, this ancient natural resin has been used as incense in Divine Worship throughout Christendom.
"First Choice" is the top grade of Somalian Frankincense and comes in marble-sized, tear-shaped pieces. It is then processed by the brothers of the monastery to a size suitable for use at home or in Church.

I have purchased and analyzed incense resins for 40 years and have never found a Somalian olibanum even close to this quality. Its full aroma and distinctive fragrance - often described as reminiscent of fresh cut wood and citrus - are wonderful. The price and service are also first rate.

The resin smells heavenly and comes in a nice container.
Came in a nice jar. The incense has a pleasant scent. The pieces are larger than I usually use but, that is a plus. One or two pieces last for a long time during prayers. I have used it multiple times in my prayer corner.
