Church Update (February 2021)
Thanks to the grace of God and your love and generosity, our fundraising efforts have continued to go well. We have now raised nearly $1.5 million, in addition to the funds we have set aside ourselves from our own income.

Monastery Breaks Ground on New Church
By the mercy of God, as of Monday November 9th we have officially broken ground on our new church. At noon the brotherhood of Holy Cross Monastery, led by Archimandrite Seraphim, served a moleben at the site of the new temple and sprinkled the entire area with holy water. Immediately afterward our contractors began excavation work.

Church Construction Update
As announced last year, we have been hard at work completing the first phase of the construction of our new church. We are very happy to announce that, with the help of God, we have completed Phase One of the construction process, namely, all the infrastructure repairs and improvements necessary for the new church to be built.

With great pleasure, I have developed a design for a new church for the Hermitage of the Holy Cross in West Virginia. In many ways, this design is the culmination of 15 years of thought, research, and experimentation on my part, and encapsulates the best of my ideas for Orthodox church design.
